Extend Your Lashes

Recently more and more women are starting to want to have longer lashes but want them to last longer than the normal strip lashes normally do. With strip lashes you can wear them for a night maybe two depending on how you are. Then you have strip lashes used with a strong glue that last about two weeks. Currently my favorite is the lash extensions. I have hopped on the extension bandwagon. I like them because they look very natural and they last about two months as long as you go to get your fill like you would if you had on acrylic nails. If you are a woman with expensive taste you can also try the mink eyelashes. They are just as beautiful just a little on the pricey side. So don't keep buying different mascaras trying to see which one works the best. Invest in some lashes. You do not even need mascara with the extensions. Have fun and try something new.

Christina Crump - Stylist

Christina Crump
Hairstylist/ Salon Owner

Christina had a salon like none other in Columbus, Ohio. She and friend Samara Tillman opened a clothing boutique/ hair salon. They wanted to create a place where women could come get hair and makeup done and also leave with an outfit. Christina was the only stylist in the salon for a very personal experience with her clients. After being opened for a little over a year they decided to part ways. Crump recently shut down her individual shop and opened a shop with additional stylists, a nail technician and an esthetician.

The shop is called Strand Café, which is located in the booming Short North area in Columbus, Ohio. Christina has been doing hair for the last ten years. Christina started a new trend that other shop owners in Columbus are following suit, which is Makeup Bars.  A makeup bar is an event that was started by Crump a year and a half ago where women come and get makeup services done while enjoying a cocktail and conversation with other fabulous women. Services include eye makeup, lashes, full face of makeup, etc. With every full face application there is a photo taken by one of the amazing local photographers. The event makes you feel like a star for the night.

Spice Up Your Holiday With Some Color

For the holiday seasons do something out of the norm and add some highlights.  Change the color of your hair completely. But first find a stylist who knows how to color hair. Try different colors like red, blue or purple but at the same time keep it classy. If you are afraid to try something on your own hair you can always purchase colored tracks and have your stylist glue them in for the same effect. It is just as cute so be bold and different.

I know a lot of women are afraid to color their hair due to all of the negative feedback on hair damage, but here is a little secret, HAVE A PROFESSIONAL DO IT.  The women who suffer hair damage are the ones that have tried to color their hair themselves, had a friend do it or had a stylist that did not know what she was doing. Not all stylist can color. Make sure you have seen the stylist color someone hair before.

Christina has colored my hair numerous times before and I got to the point to where I told her to put what color she wanted to in my hair .The trust was there because I knew what she was doing and I knew she would not have me looking crazy. My last hair color was like a smurf blue but it was subtle. I have placed some pictures of some of the colors I have had done by Christina. Hope you get the courage to try something new this holiday.
